Tenant & Resident Forum Meetings - 16th March and 13th May

Join us to discuss issues with private rented properties in Southwark, and give us your views on our licensing proposals.

We are hosting online Tenant & Resident Forum meetings on the following dates and times:-

Tuesday 16 March, 12:30 - 1pm

Thursday 13 May, 5pm - 5:30

Please email propertylicensing@southwark.gov.uk to register for your free place.

Even if you can't make these events, please continue to share your views via our online consultation or through the Commonplace map - the more people we hear from, the clearer a picture we will have of what Southwark needs.

Give us your thoughts on private renting in Southwark - until 28 June

Thank you for giving us your views and experiences of private renting in Southwark. We're really keen to hear from as many people as possible across the borough - whether private tenants, council tenants, owner-occupiers or landlords - so please spread the word.

Even if you have already told us what you think on our Commonplace map , we'd still love to hear your thoughts in a little more detail in our full consultation - it should only take 5-10 minutes and will help us shape the future of private renting in Southwark.

We think a comprehensive licensing scheme is the way forward - see below for all the potential benefits. But whatever you think, make sure your voice is heard.

The consultation (and this Commonplace map) has been extended until 28th June.
